自作について、制作姿勢について

　作家として、私は作品を見てもらえれば、それでいいと思います。タイトルはすべて「無題」です。
　言葉で持って作品を補うこと、説明することなく、見る人それ俺の感性で見て頂けたらいいと思います。10人に見てもらったら10通りの見方があり、「作品は未言であるべき」と思ってつくってきました。。
　私が作品をつくるのは、まず自分のためです。目と手で自分の見たい”もの”作ります。出来れば、つよく、深く、私なりの美しい”もの”を作りたいと願ってます。雑草に美しい花が咲いているのを見るたびに、こんなふうに作りたいと思います。
　私の作品についてよく言われる、シンプル、単純さを強いて目指しているのではなく、線そのもの、色彩そのもの、素材でもって私の「世界を組む」ことを試みていると、自然にこのような形になりました。
　小さいことについては、作り始めはそう小さくなく、制作途中で”雑音”を切り捨ててゆくと、半分、3分の1、4分の1になります。色も何度も塗り替えるので、自然に厚塗りになり、アクリル板、ミラー、紙など柔らかい素材は「手の跡」がつきます。

About my own work and my approch

　For me, as long as people can see my work, that’s all that matters. The titles of my works are entirely “untitled”.
　I hope that viewers will be able to see the work according to their own sensibilities, without having to supplement it with words or explanations. If 10 viewers see it, there will be 10 different perspectives, and I have been creating the works with the mindset that works should be unexpressed.
　The reasons I create art are first and foremost for myself. Create “what” I want to see with my eyes and hands. If possible, I hope to create something strong, deep, and beautiful in very own way. Whenever I see a beautiful flower blooming among the weeds, I want to create something like this. My work is often described as simple and plain, but I am not striving to accomplish this. Rather, I am trying to “assemble the world” with the lines themselves, the colors themselves, and the materials, and it naturally forms this way.
　As for the small size of my works, they are not so small when I start making them, but when I cut off the “noise” during the process of creating them, they become half, one-third, or one-fourth the size. As the colors are repainted many times, the paint naturally becomes thicker, and soft materials such as acrylic sheets, mirrors, and paper will show “artificial traces”.
