この展覧会はアメリカのブラック・マウンテン・カレッジのカラーコースでのジョセフ・アルバースの講義に基づき学生たちと共同制作したシルクスクリーン80点付き装丁本 “ Interaction of Color ” （Publish by Yale Univercity,1963）を含めた18作家の作品による＜カラー＞に関するグループ展です。
「カラー」の誘惑性、魅了性、驚愕性は、同時に「受動性」、「欺罔性」、「不安定性」をも内蔵し、捉えようのない「カラー」の本質に試行錯誤する実践的な作品群に触れる機会となることを期待いたしております。

This group exhibition features "Interaction of Color" (published by Yale Univercity, 1963), a bound book with 80 silkscreens produced in collaboration with students of Josef Albers' color course at Black Mountain College in the U.S., as well as works by 18 other artists.
The seductiveness, fascination, and astonishment of "color" are at the same time embedded with "passivity" "deception" and "instability". We hope that this exhibition will be a place for experimentation with the elusive essence of "color" through a process of trials and errors.
